ANNOUNCEMENT TRAILER

GIGAYA

We were asked by the folks over at Unity if we could create the announcement trailer for their largest sample game to date, Gigaya. Excited to join this venture with such a talented team, we grabbed our gear and went jumping across rooftops in a vibrant yet mysterious new world.

Gigaya was created as a way to demonstrate the capabilities of Unity as an engine, as well as provide users the entirety of the project files and assets so they can dissect and learn from it. This gave us the interesting creative challenge of making a full-scale trailer for a polished sample game, while showcasing more of the world beyond the existing level.

In order to create the trailer, we focused on production from concept to completion, taking care of gameplay capture (both cinematic and straight gameplay), editing, motion graphics, SFX, audio mixing, music, overall production polish, and a portion
 of VO and writing. The final result premiered at GDC 2022 to the excitement of many viewers.
