We were tasked with creating the trailer entirely from concept to completion. To do this, we had to take care of all gameplay capture, writing, directing,  editing, motion graphics, VO, mixing, and overall production polish.

We started the project wanting to capture the beauty of the new map, while also capturing the essence of how humanity is the reason this prehistoric world still lives in a way. We wrote a narration and concept that delivers on this idea, of giving a voice to the prehistoric world. We really wanted this to feel like the prehistoric was speaking directly to all of us, humanity, and those that work tirelessly in professions like Paleontology, as well as creating games that lovingly recreate what these creatures may have been like. To have this world say thank you for keeping them alive in a way.

We then spoke with the Irwins about working together on another trailer, and this time we got Bindi Irwin to voice the trailer, just like Robert had voiced the previous Gondwa trailer. We felt this brought weight to the words, as Bindi's voice talent was phenomenal.

On the technical side, the biggest thing we wanted to do is push the boundaries of how good we could make the gameplay look, and make every shot consist of in-game moments. With a 100 person per server MMO, that was a tall order, but through our incredibly detailed and focused capture process, we were able to achieve phenomenal results, all consisting of gameplay. Every dinosaur being a real player.

With some final trailer polish, such as audio mixing, SFX work, editing, and more, we were excited to finally release to the world a project we truly loved creating. We are grateful that with the full trust of Alderon Games, we were able to push the envelope of what a game trailer can be, and how it can make you feel.
