To create the trailer, we started by making the opening cinematics, using our art style and animation to mimic the tone and feel of a retro recruitment ad for Star Control. We then wrote and structured the VO to help settle the tone. This became the intro to the E3 trailer, which then moves into a gameplay trailer. To accomplish this, we used our state of the art gameplay capture techniques to show the game in full 4K with direct and cinematic gameplay. We then added original motion graphics and title sequences, as well as sound design, video editing, and overall polish. 

 

The end result premiered on the big stage at E3 to millions of viewers.
